E-Waste ( Management ) Rules, 2016.
Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change about E-Waste (Management) Rules, 2016. They shall come into force from the 1st day of October, 2016.
These rules shall apply to every manufacturer, producer, consumer, bulk consumer, collection centres, dealers, e-retailer, refurbisher, dismantler and recycler involved in manufacture, sale, transfer, purchase, collection, storage and processing of e-waste or electrical and electronic equipment listed in Schedule-1, including their components, consumables, parts and spares which make the product operational.
Our experts professionals thoroughly study the E-Waste rules enforced by the regulatory authority in their Jurisdiction. This includes understanding the legal requirements, obligations and procedures related to EPR authorization for Electronics Waste and evaluate the current operations, products and supply chain to determine their preparedness for implementing EPR for Electronics Waste. This assessment may involve reviewing their production process, types and volume of Electronics waste generated, existing waste management practices, and associated costs.
We will develop an implementation plan: Based on the assessment, we will create a comprehensive implementation plan tailored to the clients specific requirements. This plan should outline the steps, timelines and resources needed to comply with the E-waste EPR obligations effectively. As a part of EPR application, BCMSLL will help you to collect and analyse relevant data including gathering information on Electronic waste generation, recycling rates, recovery processes, waste audits and any other data required by the regulatory authority and will also assist in preparing the EPR authorization application involving compiling of all necessary documentation, forms, reports, financial statements and supporting evidence required by the regulatory authority.
